Good idea and now?

In this seminar I will give you an overview of the basics, potentials and pitfalls of acquisition.

What is it about

Basics of acquisition strategies

Is it possible to acquire guest performances, co-productions etc. and to permanently expand the network in which you produce and present? More and more is being produced, the competition is fierce, but the performance opportunities are not increasing. The majority of productions are shown a few times and then disappear into the archives. In this seminar I will give you an overview of the potentials and pitfalls of acquisition. What preparations do I need to make, how do I choose who to contact and how do I make contact at all? How do I behave at festivals, trade fairs, platforms, what material do I need and if someone is interested, how do I proceed? What is the right level of communication, when is it too little, when is it too much? The approach presented here is based on my many years of work experience and should enable you to develop your own strategy. I will provide you with tried and tested basics that you can build on and use to identify and improve your strengths and qualities.
